Daycare Change transition--1

Peter had an accident walking in the plyground right before I arrived. He tripped and bit his tougue and it bled a little--I guess that must have scared him a bit. Despite the fact that he had a pretty good day---good nap, good lunch and not much cry, he woke up several times in the middle of night, sobbing. I should not have let Lei bathe him, considering this transition of daycare was already hard enough for him---it must be tough to have so many routines changed, all in one day. Anyway, he slept well after I decided to put him in my bed at 2 am and woke up happy. However, this morning he realized that i was going to leave him in that room and began to hold me very tight. He cried when I left and was still crying on and off according to his teacher right now.----It is just hard, the first week.

Yaya, on the other hand, had a pretty good day. According to Ms. Kelly, she already made two new friends, and even talked a little(she is very quiet if she is nervous). She had a great experience making apple sauce from apples and she told me she was very careful cutting apples. This morning, Yaya was a little excited to get to her room, and she showed me the kitchen, where the oven they were using yesterday for make applesauce. Movever, she did not ask for a teacher's hand, instead, she gave me a big smile when i was taking off.---She is dealing with it, I know my girl, she is really growing up.

I always worry more about sensitive Yaya, but Peter is always the one who turns out to have a hard time. I hope he can get better soon.
