Peter is standing more and more! Time really flies-- still clearly remember this time last year that we were on vacation in San Diego, when i finally got a break from the severe pregnancy reactions. We kept joking that one day this baby will become somebody since he has been giving us so much trouble even before delivery--the first four months of pregnancy was miserable, headache, vomitting and fatigue all the time. Lei was cooking and taking care of Yaya, but still it was so unbearable for me. Then at 20th week ultrasound check-up, i was asked to do another ultrasound at 32th week because of the partial placenta previa. It turned out to be OK although the specialist found something else even worse--the baby's ventricle size was at the upper limit. I was so scared and nervous, and tears washed my face in the following week. The worries accompanied us until my 38th week and my doctor decided to give me an induction one week before my due day since it had always been a big baby according to the ultrasound, plus i was having a lot of false contractions. The induction was schedule on Mar. 22th, while Peter arrived naturally at 0:18am on the same day, without any induction. Everyone was amazed at this big boy(8lbs6oz) and he turned out to be all fine.
Actually not only fine, he is such a strong boy ever since born. He ate so much and frequently that i was nursing him almost around the clock. He took a 28hr trip with us to China to see grandparents before he was 3-month old. He got his first two teeth one day after he turned 4-month old. Now he is standing, crawling, playing with Yaya, and whining to me all the time... He has such a mellow personality, exactly like Lei.. Although sometimes, he does make me feel exhausted--he is so demanding when he is hungry and tired that i am never fast enough to stop his super-high-pitch crying. We are really eager to see what he will be like and look forward to his growing up.
