Yaya's curiosity

Yaya has become more and more curious lately. You can feel she is so eager to learn and get to know things. Sometimes it makes me excited, sometimes it tires me out, other times it scares me. Like one day, she began to question me about planets. Oh my gosh, I did not even know the names in English, how can I pronounce well? When I finally put her to bed, I told hubby to find me some reference--you know, I got to learn before she asks next time, right? Of course next day, she corrected my pronunciation about "jupiter".

Today I am so excited to find out Yaya was able to write Chinese characters all by herself. Being such a lazy mom, I always tell people that she is too young to learn Chinese yet. But, she asked me to write her something in Chinese today. So in order to escape, I took out a book, threw it on the table and told her "you can find those in here". The next thing I saw was this piece of paper she wrote, for the first time, and no one even paid much attention to her. Wow, at least quite impressive to me!
