Peter's week

Peter has begun to make some progress.

At the morning drop-off, this week, our little guy has been very cooperative. Once he stood at the door and waved bye to me; another time he sat at the table, began to color, but still waved to me; this morning, he decided to walk to his teacher and watching those fish in the tank with her.

Pick-up time is always full of surprises. He now could tell which cubby belongs to whom. I have no idea how he knew, maybe by the pictures, maybe because of the inital letter of each kid's name? I do remember when Yaya was in toddler room, she was able to tell all the names on the lockers because she remembered the first letter and the relative length of each name. Kids are really smart!

On the other hand, though, Peter's teacher reported some incidents to me. Both at morning snack and lunch, Peter threw his cup backward over his shoulder. The teacher had given him another cup of drink, but he kept doing the same thing, therefore was taken away from the table as "has finished his meal". At home too, we have had a couple of times, Peter intentionally threw the toys on table all around the floor. Yaya tried to pick up after him, but he kept dumping them away. Well, I know it is time to get ready for our soon-to-be two boy's special period. I anticipate that in a very short while, we will have more and more times being tested about "limit". Neverthless, it is a milestone, too!
