This morning was strange, in a very good way---both kids were unbelievaly happy on the way to school. Therefore they were talktive.
Forgot how it began, Peter started to follow Yaya counting. First in English, "one", "w--o-n-e' "two" "t-w-o", so on and on until nine, Peter went a long, long one "n-e-i----", Then afterwards, Spanish, "uno" "uuu-no---" "dos" "d-o-s-"'...I was so surprised that Peter could actually repeat Yaya's counting and seemed to really enjoy doing it. They giggled, yelled whenever the other one finished his/her turn. Then somehow, Yaya began to sing, while Peter managed to let Yaya allow him to pick songs. When Yaya sang "twinkle, twinkle, little star.." Peter shaked his big head "no, no, no up above" The Yaya went "Old Mc'Donnald had a farm" "No, no, no moo---" It was so funny to look in the back mirror and listen to those two having this conversation. Yaya continued to start up a new song, and Peter went on and on denying it. Then Yaya ran out of those she could sing and began to try those song names from pbskids, "it is a good day for counting?" "no, no counting" "Let's pat our pets" "Yes!" Finally, here came a "yes". Unfortunately, Yaya forgot how that song goes and she started to make up a tune and words. She laughed as she sang, Peter responded with laugh...
It felt so good.
