Another year again! Time flies. We went to Xiaoyang's house again, of course.
Xiaojun's family went too. So Yaya and Yaoyao were a match, while Peter and Mingming were only one month age difference. As expected, there were around 15 kids, including Timmy, who is now 3 and a half already. He is even maturer than last year, chatted with me for a bit. As every year, the kids had a blessing night and the adults had a relaxing time.
I feel so grateful for having such good friends. Xiaoyang, ever since we got to know each other six years ago, has been treating me like her younger sister, and my family like her relatives. Yaya was called their princess by Xiaoyang's husband. It is a nice feeling that someone is always thinking about you at this special family gathering time each year and you are so welcomed in their house.
Since it is thanks-giving, I feel like write down my thanks for all the blessings in my life:
I am thankful for
--my dear hubby, who has always been there for me, listen to me, talk to me, help me go through every difficult time all these years;
--my lovely kids, for being healthy, active, and most of all, understanding when I am upset;
--my parents, for allowing me to stay where I like to even though they wish me to be closer in distance, for being supportive and giving me advice whenever I need;
--my friends, for chatting with me about my frustration about life, parenting, for all the encouragement;
--my doctor, my boss, and many and many other people who have been nice to me and make me feel good about myself.
I am thankful for what I am having and I sincerely wish everyone has a wonderful holiday.
