Written at 4 weeks end of the daycare transition

Yaya: I am so glad to realize that I should not have worried a single bit about her. She IS BIG and so much better at adapting to new enviroment now. Despite of her shyness under certain circumstances, she is unbelivably good at making new friends and blending herself into the class. Barely any problem at drop-offs and happy everyday. Currently very talktive, tons of questions and most of the time not easily satisfied with most of my answers.

Peter: After around two weeks of miserable life for himself and me, Peter is doing better day by day. This morning was the first no-tear-no-holding-by-teachers drop-off. Yesterday at pick-up, we happened to see him dancing with his teachers(wiggling, twisting his body, shaking his head and waving his hands). He is much happier at home too. The only problem left is that he still needs a company to fall asleep at night, and often wakes up before morning looking for mommy. We haven't made up our minds to re-train him for sleep yet. Current stage is "no" for everything, whether he wants it or not; anxious to learn saying different words and amazingly capable of telling or pointing to body parts both in Chinese and English. Still keeps the passion about animals. More cooperative in dressing, undressing, bathing etc, and still has the charming and contagious laughing sound.

Overall I guess the toughest period is over. With my heavy-loaded work schedule lately, I have been feeling exhausted this whole week.
