My poor son

Peter was sick for another week and we had a very tiring stay-at-home holiday. First he got some fever as i reported in the previous posts and then last Sunday night, his bad cough began to worry me. So last Monday, he was diagnosed as "croup" which is a virus infection by the way and i had never heard of. There was not much we can do to help him except for providing humid atomosphere to help him breathe. But i was told that he should get better by last Wednesday, which did not seem to be the case. So last Wednesday, Lei took him to visit the doctor again and found out that he has got ear infection by then. Poor little guy was then put on antibiotics. By Friday, he finally began to get back to himself.

What really bothers me a lot is that how come my son gets sick so frequently. I was actually in a pretty bad mood, blaming myself for letting him suffer so much. Because i had to admit that before i got pregnant with Peter, my health was not very good as that when i was having Yaya. Yaya, on the other hand, did have a period when she would get sick like once in a month when she first started daycare, but afterwards, she was a strong girl and seldom fell for any infection(I hope by saying this, i will not jinx anything for my little girl). That is why we never even had Motrin in the house before Peter was born. Peter, seemed to be much weaker, he was sick almost the whole month March, which we concluded that maybe it was the moving and new daycare stress. But now, what is it? Even worse, every time he is sick, it is a different stuff, of course i hardly knew any of them, it almost seems to me that I am made to learn about all the kids' disease because i did not learn anything on Yaya. UGGHHH...

I can do nothing about the past, but I do pray that my baby will not suffer from sickness so often. Please.
