I learned more
Today is the first time I saw Yaya was so happy during the swimming class. To be honest, i have been talking to myself for some time "do I really want to keep Yaya in the swimming class?" She did not show as much interest as before and sometimes she even cried because of fear. She is still not confident about back swim by herself, and she hates to wet her eyes. This summer session, I switched her to the earliest time on Saturday, considering we might have more time for going out afterwards. It might be coincident that she happens to be a better swimmer than most of other kids in her class. After only one class she made a new friend, and today she must have felt that she was good and she acted particularly happy throughout the class. Even more, she was willing to try everything she used to be afraid of, like putting her whole head in water, back swim all by herself etc. Even though I was not in there with her, I could feel she was really different, unusally happy. I was very glad, too. When I told Lei, he commented the following, which is by far the truest observation he has made in our life:" Eh, that's good! When Yaya( or the kids) is happy, you are happy; you being happy makes me happy; we both happy make the kids happy, so our family is all happy".
