Trip to Navy Pier

This is the first weekend of the spring. The whole family went out to Navy Pier.

It was thrilling to see Yaya becoming such a brave girl. There is a live stage play going on and on for everyday at Navy Pier to entertain travelers. Sometimes they play music instruments, sometimes they organize some games to invite kids to participate. Yaya, beyong our expectation, was so anxious to take part in every game they had. Almost right at the second they called for participants, she jumped onto the stage with those big kids. She looked so small, yet so cute in the row with those big kids and tried her best to play a good game. In a game called "sticky fish", Yaya was even able to be the winner out of about 10 kids.

Peter also started to pay attention to his surrounding. Right after waking up from his nap in the car, he was attracted by the huge numbers of people and kids. His eyes were so busy to follow everything happening and there was not a single fussy moment the whole day.

In the Children's Museum, there happened to be an exhibition from China called"the journey to the west". Yaya spent a long time doing some drawing, cutting and pasting, until the very end that she could make a perfect sunflower shadow. She is now old enough to decide what to play and which one to skip. Peter, on the other hand, was not satisfied with the baby area anymore. He spent quite some time walking back and forth on a small bridge in the treehouse.

Lunch at Mcdonnal's told us that now Peter is a real little person to be counted for lunch. Six pieces of chicken nuggets included happy meal was hardly enough for those two little people. Peter bounced his body with the fast rythum music, which amused several young guys sitting next to us.

It was almost a perfect trip, except we spent almost half an out to get checked out of the parking lot, which made our Peter cry pretty hard and skip his half nap.
