I can talk too!

Peter has not really started to call mommy or daddy with the real meaning yet. But he is able to say in Chinese some simple words, like "go", "eat", "outside" and his sister's name etc. This weekend, he surprised us first by saying "eat it" when he saw some favorite food. Then, while i was sitting on the lawn with him and telling him to see the bird in front of us, i said word "bird" in Chinese while pointing for him. Quite out of my expectation, he did look at the bird and responded with "birdie!". Lei laughed when i told him the story later. Then Sunday afternoon, when i was cooking in the kitchen, Lei was sitting in the living room with the kids. Peter was trying to push the toy box along the room, all of a sudden, he yelled loudly while finally making the box move forward"push, push.." It was so funny. This little guy, has established quite a vocabulary in English before he can call mommy or daddy.
