Thoughtfulness

One friend has a daughter half a year younger than Yaya and a son about the same age as Peter. When chatting about the kids, friend told me that her son always chose her daughter over her in a situation where both of them ask for something in his hand. This, of course, made the sister feel special and very happy. When we got home last night, I asked Yaya over to try it on Peter. As expected, Peter gave his book to his sister instead of me when both of us sat in front of him and asked for it. Yaya was very happy and excited to find that out too! The the second round, we both asked for the block in Peter's hand. Again, Peter handed it to Yaya. But, within the minute Yaya got the block, she handed it to me" mommy, I want you to have it, even though Peter doesn't choose you, I want to let you have it..." This is my girl, being 3 years and 8 months old.
