This is more like my girl

Yaya's friend at school came back from her vacation in India. She brought presents for each classmate, including Yaya. When I went to pick her up, she just jumped out of the classroom right away and was so anxious to show me the bracelets she got. While I walked in the hallway, Yaya ran to the big window of the classroom next to hers and began to shout"Patrick, look, look what I got...."Patrick is her part-time teacher, who is working in that classroom for Thursday. As a side story, not only Yaya, almost all the kids in the daycare seem to love male teachers so much. Maybe it is because males are not very common seen as preschool teachers. Anyway, as a continuation of my story, Yaya kept talking loudly at the window, I guess Patrick felt it was only fair to step out. He stood in the hall way and let Yaya finished her story. As we went on our way, Yaya headed into another classroom without asking or giving me any direction. The door was open and Yaya called right as she stepped in"David, look, I got a present from **, She came back..." David, the lead teacher in that room, who is famous for his gentleness to kids, responded right away. He bent down to talk to Yaya and assured her that the bracelets were very pretty. Furthermore, David told Yaya how he appreciated it that she came in his room to tell him her day. He said that he wishes Yaya can keep doing that everyday... Me too! Being very naughty, brave and active in my childhood, I have always wondered why Yaya, who at least should have some of my genes, was so timid and shy. I know it is her personality, and everything new just needs her to take time to get close. But still, it made me feel so good seeing her being so "brave" in initiating conversation with someone who she is not very close to. Way to go, little girl!
