Yaya and I wrote a letter to Santa last night. The main goal, of course, is to let Santa know what Yaya wanted for Chrismas--a train. Yaya drew a crocodile(actually pretty good drawing) for Santa, and i wrote down whatever she wanted to write there. It went as"Mommy gave you a gift card(as a matter of fact, she means a greeting card), please give me a train, with magnetic carts, and tracks, with freight in the carts..." Then she tried so hard to seal the envelope all by herself and decorated both sides of the envelope by more drawings, letters and her teachers' names. I guess now she is assured that she will get the desired present.

Here's is the letter Santa will send back to her,

Dear Yaya,

I am very glad to get a card from you and I love the crocodile you drew for me. Thank you very much!

I will try my best to get the train to you by Chrismas, but in case it does not look exactly as what you dreamed of, please accept my present with joy, because I just love your smile, and I really want you to be happy for ever.

I also want to tell you that even though i am not around, I know you have been a very good helper this year. First, congratulations to you for becoming a big sister! I know you have been helping mommy a lot with Peter, especially when daddy is not around. You know, both mommy and daddy feel so proud of you. Also, I heard that you can now use your own words instead of crying to let others know about your desire, that is fabulous! I feel so happy for you for acting more like a grown-up, not a baby anymore. Please remember that I hope next year you can make more progress, such as telling your teachers about going to the bathrooms even at the nap times and telling your friends nicely that you are not done yet when you want to hold on to a toy. Remember, a big girl should be like this. Always use your nice voice to talk. Finally, I hope you can have another happy year with your parents, brother and friends. I will come by and drop you the presents when you are sound asleep.

Talk to you next Chrismas!
Santa
