After those freezing cold days, the temperature finally got to above 40F during the past two days. It has been long time since our whole family went out together. Yesterday morning we decided to do some grocery shopping together so that the kids can get some fresh air. Afterwards I was so honorable to be allowed to take a few hours off (from the kids). It felt like being set free from a cage.:) I drove out right away. Everywhere it was so crowded, and the traffic was really bad. I didn't really buy much but got a chance to observe the scence of last minute shopping. People are really investing a lot on Chrismas presents. No wander it is said the holiday season is the main time for stores to earn their profit for the year. Anyway, it was a good break for me. Today, Lei got his break for a couple of hours and he did some more grocery shopping. Yaya was back-counting the time, for Santa to drop her the train and for Chrismas party to begin (tonight). Even though got a lot cooking and housework to do, everyone seem a little excited about the holiday coming. Peter, of course, knew nothing about it, but he is having an extra nap right now so that hopefully he can stay a little late for the party.
