We had a good time in Orlando. Staying with friends' family in the resort was very relaxing for me, at least. Both of us are now having two kids, while last time, when we visited them after they moved to Cincinati, both of us were still with no kid at all. Time flies!
Kids are great. Her son--Jeffery(over 2 yrs old) is very funny and talktive, and he basically kept the room active. He talks so much that when he fell asleep, it was so quiet and we found nothing to do. :) He called Lei Uncle 叔叔 upon Lei's request, and called me Green 阿姨 just because i was wearing a green sweater when he first saw me. Then he followed Yaya to call me 妈 the day before they left. Jeff is a very sharp observer and if you finished eating, within 10 seconds, he will ask"you full?" If you yawn, he will ran to you and say" you tired?" then "want to sleep?" then if you say "no", he will continue like"still want to play?" It goes on and on, forever until he is tired or pulled away to bed. One afternoon, all the kids were napping when i heard his little sister began to cry. I ran into their bedroom, and found that he was sitting there. While i was rushing to pick the little girl up, he was sitting there, laughing and laughing, very hard. I could not understand what is so funny and asked my friend later what made him laugh so loudly, and his mom explained"he napped well, so he was happy.." that's it. A funny boy with tons of comments and jokes. After they left Saturday morning, the room became so quiet and empty and Lei and I both felt missing Jeff the most!
Friend's cousin also stayed for a couple of days with us. Their boy(Jaden) is around Yaya's age. He is such a quiet boy, very good at spelling. (Amazingly that he could spell a lot of words already) One night when we were talking about kids, his dad shared some of his stories. There was one time when Jaden was very interested in counting, one day his dad decided to change the subject and taught him some names of his body parts. The next day his dad wanted to see how much Jaden has remembered. When his dad pointed to his forhead, he got into some deep thinking. After a little while, he replied with joy"fivehead"(forhead--fourhead).
Yaya was, like always, very well behaved during the whole stay. We both think that she is getting better and better in the respect of contacting with strangers. It didn't take long for her to start to communicate with every kids as well as adults---I am really happy that all our effort turns out worthwhile. She is the oldest among these five kids and she acted like the oldest, even helped sometime in taking care of the babies. After friend's family left, we went out and Lei decided to give both kids a treat for being so good. We went to buy some toys for both Yaya and Peter. Of course Peter will take whatever we got for him. Yaya was hesitating initially around a Pooh or Tiger, then became pretty sure she wanted the later. Then i noticed that there's a Dora holding two Superbabies. I was so sure that Yaya would love to see this since Lei has recently got her the exact DVD, and she did get very excited at the sight. We put both the Pooh and the Dora in the cart, then before we left, i asked yaya which one we should take. She looked still undecided, and both Lei and I began to say, "how about both, since you were so good and let's take both..." But beyond our expectation, Yaya decided to take only one--her beloved Dora. And plus, she said "that is the rule--one toy a time". No matter how i explained that it is ok if she wants both, she seems so determined and we left the Tiger in the store. Sometimes, i just can not help but wonder, are all the kids so great or am i just lucky to have this little girl?

It is a lot of fun just reading your notes!!! The part of Jeffrey sounds so funny that I kept asking myself, how could I miss all of these? Probably because I live in his funny questions and I don't realize it is funny any more.
