Chatterbox- Yaya

After Peter was born, Lei and I agreed that either one of us should spend some alone time with Yaya outside somewhere at least once a week to help her get through the transition easier. And we did so. Yaya turned out to be very good with sharing mommy and daddy with a new-comer. I guess that we were relieved to see her doing well in the first couple of months and then we didn't even realize when we stopped taking Yaya out due to our busy schedule on weekends. It has really been a long time. Today, I took Yaya out to do some shopping and she said she wanted to play at Toyrus. Of course, we went. I felt guitly i haven't took her to the store ever since Peter's arrival. After playing for over 2 hours, we went out to get some lunch. I guess Yaya just felt so special that she could not stop talking and chatting. She had so many comments and questions. I was sitting there, watching her eating and talking, while still keeping up with her conversation. She is so cute! Like a little friend of mine, caring about how I am doing and so on. Even though she did not say anything, I can feel that she is very different today--active and talktive, even lasted after we got home. I think we should still try to do the once-a-week-go-out-alone-with-a-parent thing for some time.
