聪明的儿子

关于树叶，秋天的话题，在车里已经有过N遍，多数时候儿子就静静地听着妈妈和姐姐你问我答。今早送完姐姐，拉着儿子的手向daycare building走，儿子居然也开始问：

--妈妈，why there's no much leaves on the floor(ground)?
--因为树叶都快落光了呀。
--why?
--因为秋天树叶就要落掉，明年再长新的呀。
--but not Chrismas tree.
--Right. Some trees have their leaves all year around, like Chrismas tree.
--Yeah. And, and the wind blow(s) them away.
--(Me amazed) yeah, the leaves fall on the ground and the wind blow them away.
--Today is cold, and windy.
--(even more amazed) yeah, you are right, today is windy, that's why there's not many leaves on the ground.
