Peter, as usual, refused to nap after lunch, no matter how hard we tried to persuade him. At last, I lay down on the bed, yelled "who wants to come and sleep with me?" No one responded. Lei showed up after a minute, "Since no kid is interested, I will nap with you." It was still not an effective temptation and the two kids visited, laughed, but no one wanted to join us lying down. Well, we ended up falling asleep, yeah, both of us! Yaya did an unbelievable job taking care of everything. For everything, I don't exactly know what they were, but we both napped for about two hours without any interruption. And Lei woke up first and found Peter was eating strawberry that Yaya had washed for him.
Lei asked me afterwards"have we ever both had a nap while the kids up ever since Yaya's born?" "No, absolutely no." Well, life is promising, isn't it?
Later of the day, of course, Peter was a little grumpy and went to bed right after dinner. Yaya insisted on helping me finish up cooking. It won't be too long before Lei's postion as a helper in the kitchen will be replaced, I guess.
