Yaya began to have a temperature after her dancing class on Saturday. Poor girl. When she is sick, she becomes so quiet. I mean, she is the typical loud, exaggerative 4-yr-old normally, but when she is under the weather, she often chooses to sit in a corner and write, color, or read. That makes her even more lovely, right?
Anyway, I stayed home with her on Monday just to make sure the fever is really gone. She was so thrilled she did not have to go to school (despite the fact she was not feeling sick anymore) but Peter had to. She could have mommy all to herself! Wecooked, played board games and she could even set up the rules. But, unfortunately when mommy was almost win in the second run, after she won in the first one, her face turned blue, and her eyes stared at my face and then her tears came off her face "I don't want you to win...WAAH..."
Later we went out shopping for a pair of new shoes for Yaya. It was long due but i never got time to do it. This little girl, fell in love with one pair of leather shoes (with a little heel) at the first sight. When being forced to try other shoes on, either they were too big, too tight or hurting her feet. Then the leather shoes of course felt perfect and she successfully got them in the car, more accurately, on her feet right away. Before we went to pick up Peter at school, Yaya happily told me "mommy I love staying home with you, it was so much fun!" Well, who don't?
There must be a lot on my mind because I locked the key in the house once during the day. "Uh-oh" I said so right when I closed the door. Yaya nicely comforted me, went to pick up the key from the rental office and we got my key out. Then after returning the borrowed key, Yaya calmly said to me "妈妈?" "嗯?" "你好土啊!"
