two boys

Boy A: He did not even look at his poor mommy when she went to pick him up at school. Then in the hall way, he grabbed a small pumpkin from the exhibition table and ran away from her when being told that he should put it back. He then escaped from mommy's arms and got out of the school gate with only a T-shirt on , no matter how painful his mommy's heart hurt, in this chilly, rainy Chicago night. When the pumpkin was forcely taken away, this boy of course threwed a huge tantrum, right there in front of school building, leaving his mommy holding his sturdily stretched body with her arthritis-infected arms. Still she felt guilty for not having being able to make it a little easier for him.

Boy B: He was happily playing by himself while mommy finished her dinner. Then upon request "do you want mommy to go and read you the story?", he nodded his big head and voluntarily held on to mommy's hand. He even coperated 100% with mommy in brushing and rinsing his teeth. Then, he sat there quietly, with his little pinky cheek, and listened so attentively to his bed-time stories. After 3 books, he lay down without a single struggle, waiting for mommy's last story in the dark. Soon this boy quietly fell asleep without any fuss, leaving mommy a full heart of sweetness.

They are both mine, but I feel like coming from another world to realize that it can be of such a difference just in one evening.

Well, if you were the mommy, boy A would not be cute but scary to you. Everyday you need constantly figure out how to avoid him throwing his tantrum--screaming, kicking, body stretching straight.
