We got a second-hand Toyota Corolla last summer when Lei began to commute for work. I insisted on using this old car for transporting the kids to school and for me to go to work because it gives me less pressure and my driving is obviously not great. The kids have been OK with it, in fact, I did not think they are old enough to have any opinion about cars.
It turned out not the case. Lei took my car to garage yesterday before going to work for some repair, therefore, the kids have been sitting in daddy's car since Saturday. This morning, when we tried to get them in my car, Yaya claimed that she still wanted to sit in daddy's car, while Peter screamed and refused to be put in. After quite some struggle, Lei (not the kids) gave up. Here I am, driving his car with those two happy, picky passengers.
Can you believe it? I am impressed.
