Learn calling "daddy"

In Chinese, "daddy" sounds like "Ba-Ba".

Friday night-----I forgot how, we began to tell Peter call "Ba-ba". Little guy imitated very well and he did it every time being asked. Lei was very happy about it. I suddenly realized that we had never taught Peter how to say "ma-ma' or "ba-ba". No wonder he did not say it. Guess we thought miracle would happen since he is the second child, huh?

Saturday--Lei tried several times, but Peter did not really follow his instruction any more. Only when Lei held a cracker in front of the boy to tempt him, he was willing to say 'ba-ba". I told Lei he might end up thinking that that cracker had a name as "ba-ba"

Sunday--Peter gave up, so did Lei. Friend visited, Lei was not able to show off despite great effort. In the car, Lei said"Peter, call me 'ba-ba'" No response. I said"Peter, call me 'ma-ma'" No response, either. Yaya then said"call me 'Ya-ya'", Peter replied right away"ya-ya"! Yeah, we all knew who weighs more in Peter's mind.

Monday morning---I was in the bathroom, while Peter was drinking milk alone in the living room. Then I heard his footsteps approached, and passed the bathroom and went into the bedroom, where Lei was still sleeping. "Ba-Ba!" A very loud and clear call from the boy. Lei, who normally spends quite a while to wake up, rolled up from the bed right away, and answered "Yes!"
