Help or not?

This morning when Peter was asking for a jelly bean, I gave him two instead of one, telling him to give the other one to his sister. I followed him walking in the living room, reminding him to give that jelly bean out. He put one in his own mouth, before he even did anything about the second one, Yaya said " no, you can have it, I don't want one." No matter how I tried to explain to her that we should let Peter learn to share, she does not have to eat it and can just take it, she insisted like "Peter, you can have it, you don't need to give it to me"...Ugh....
