Snap-shots

Despite all the hard time Peter gives us once in a while, he is now at the age of cuteness. It really feels like a bless to have him around when he is not fussy.

Snap-shot1: Peter loves cars. Any kind of toy cars, I mean. Everyday now after I picked him up from his room, we will go into Yaya's room for some water. Afterwards, he usually goes to the train table and plays for a while. But he has been having problems to let those trains(cars) stay in the room when we leave. But yesterday was an exception. He grabbed a car in his hand as always when i called him to go. while he finally walked towards me, i explained again that the car needed to stay here. Beyond my expectation, this time he actually turned back. Therefore, i emphasized again for him to put the car on the train table. He turned around to me, a little puzzled, then, he smiled and went to the table to return the car. I clapped for him and said "good boy", and he was so happy and ran into my arms.

Snap-shot2: Peter and Yaya finished watching "Barney". I told Yaya to turn off the TV, but she seemed a little tired, lying on the sofa. Within seconds, Peter walked up to the television, and switched off the power.

Snap-shot3: Peter was pushing the doll stroller while we headed home after parking the car. Accidentally he fell and Yaya and I looked back at him when we heard the noise. He was on the ground and about to cry as we looked when hearing I said "come here, come to mommy.." He glanced at his stroller and hesitated. I told him" your sister will get that for you.." he then walked to me and lay on my shoulders while watching Yaya got his stroller. No cry at all.

Snap-shot4: Peter and Yaya were both sucking on a lollipop, then Yaya went to the neighbor's with daddy. Peter lost his on the floor by accident. When I told him that it is dirty and no good to eat, he took the candy up from the floor and threw it in the garbage. He seemed perfectly fine with losing it and we continued playing. After a little while, Yaya came back, with her hand still holding her lollipop. No one even noticed when all of a sudden Peter stood up and "jumped" onto Yaya, to catch a lick. As one can imagine, it resulted in both of them crying.
