I can not stop thinking about the news two nights ago. A 4-yr old girl was hit and killed by a car at an intersection outside of LincolnPark Zoo when the driver ignored the "stop" sign. Her mom had another 6-yr-old and 1-yr-old with her while crossing the street. It just occured to me that kids somtimes want to be so independent at a certain age and we did not always emphasizing on holding their hands. I am sometimes scared at the thought of losing my children, in public places or in any kind of accident. We really need to watch them as closely as they were young.
