Is this a normal period for Left-handed?

Yaya had this period when she would write everything as the mirror image of what it should be. Since she was only around 2, we did not really care that much about correcting her. But now she is offically beginning to write and spell a lot everyday, sometimes she still end up writing from the right side of a piece of paper to the left edge, also, sometimes, the letters are still the mirror images. Yesterday, I noticed that she brought home her work at school with "mom, dad, peter" on it. From the way "peter"looks, i can tell the little girl was using the paper and writing again from the wrong side. Also, sometimes in the car when she inquires about the meaning of a sign on the street, like the names of a street, or a shop, she usually starts her spelling from the right end. I am concerned and might need to consult someone about this soon.
