Gravity

Yaya was walking with me outside when there was an airplane flying by on Sunday afternoon. I asked her to look up in the sky and Yaya asked me" mommy, why is it so small?" "Because it is way up high in the sky and it is far away"I replied. "If it's closer, like when we saw the airplane at the airport, it will be much bigger, right?"I tried to let her understand the relative size definition. After thinking for one second, Yaya responded"So, astronauts should see the plane in the sky bigger, am i right?""yes, maybe, when the astronaut is in the sky".

"Mommy?"
"yes?"
"do you know that when there is no gravity, the astronauts can not walk, they will fly and float in the air" Yaya changed her subject.
I was stuned that she understands gravity. "How do you know gravity?"
"We talked about it during circle time on Friday"...
