Back on track
Our life has finally got back on track.- the kids are happy and Lei and I are therefore happy. Yaya concluded last Thursday that now that everyone in the family had been sick, no one should get sick again. I hope that will stay the fact for a while.
Delicious ribs-I baked some ribs on Sunday, hoped it would be sufficient for this week. That was normally the amount we needed for one week. But, you know, the ribs were obviously so tasteful and the kids simply loved it and dug into it right away. So, I barely got a bite yet and it was gone already--it was only Monday night. Therefore, I had to make another batch today.
Nice weather--we had it on Sunday, therefore were able to make full advantage of it--we took the kids to a nearby park. For the first time in his life, Peter enjoyed the park as Yaya has always been. Yaya already made a new friend in the park, and we enjoyed the sunshine too.
Locked Key---This morning, I acciendentally locked myself out of the car again, fortunately it was in the parking lot at work. Out of instinct, i called Lei right away, knowing it is hard for him to help, being 35 miles away. Due to the gate entrance control, it would be troublesome too for me to call AAA. It turned out that we have on-site fire department who will do the work for me, thanks to my nice boss and her kind secretary. Honestly, I love the people here, though feel a little lonely since most of them are much older.
