A lovely evening
Both kids were in a good mood yesterday--Peter benefited from his long afternoon nap from 1:20-3:40pm, i guess. Yaya asked to go home after staying in the playroom for less than half an hour since daddy came back (pretty unusual for her, we always have a hard time dragging her out of the playroom). After dinner, Lei played with both kids without being requested. It gave me sufficient time cleaning up. Then I joined the three of them. First, Lei was singing some song and Yaya followed him. Then Lei began to use his hometown accent to sing, which was so funny that all of us laughed (yes, Peter laughed too, guess because he saw all of us laughing). Yaya was so good at imitating. I think she can learn the accent better than me. One song after another, Lei and Yaya gave us a pretty good performance. Then, Yaya claimed that it was time for story. We were asked to keep quiet when she went to the shelf and got a book. She, with the book pages turning, told us a story! Next, Yaya was very cooperative, and we had a smooth bath. For the past two nights, she seems to have accepted the fact that Mommy can only be responsible for one child at a time and finally allowed Lei to read the bedtime story to her. When i put Peter to bed, she fell asleep too. Pretty smooth transition for almost everything. I felt so happy and wanted to tell Lei that he didn't have to give me accompany watching TV (he has been doing that instead of surfing online for a couple of days), but found out, he was already sitting in front of the computer. Haha, I know he is craving for internet. :) But anyway, it was a lovely family evening. Usual, but i like.
