Peter acted like he was scared of darkness ever since the summer time ends. Every afternoon when i pick both kids up, it is getting dark. He began to cry right after i put him in the carseat during the past two days, giving this impression that he was scared since he hadn't had any experience of staying in a car in the dark. But i was a little surprised--young babies should be fearless, shouldn't they? Anyway, today, I decide to help him a little. Upon explaining to Yaya patiently, i managed to persuade yaya to sit in the car first, therefore, Peter was very happy while i was buckling him up. Yaya was make some kind of funny noise to amuse him and he did respond loudly. Everything seemed fine, but as soon as i closed the door on Peter's side, he burst into tears again, crying loudly. I realized that it was not the darkness. We began to start out for home, while i delibrately chatted with yaya loudly. Within 1 minute, the cry fadded away. Yaya told me" Mommy, i don't think Peter was scared of darkness, he wanted to hear mommy and elder sister's voices..."What a smart girl, I think so too!
