Yaya was so excited that it was daddy's birthday---because that means we can have some cake, oh, yeah! Starting from the day before yesterday, she was begging me "mommy, let's go buy the cake and i promise, i will not eat... blah, blah, blah...." I knew kids are kids and i insisted we wait. So when we appeared at the classroom door, Yaya was doing her puzzle with her friends. I told her we needed to go right after she finished the one she was in the middle of, and she didn't seem to be so happy---always not wants to go home these days. Then when i told her where we were heading for, she wrapped everything up in 10 seconds and ran to one of her teachers, and said"today is my daddy's B-day!!" Then she ran, hopped and jumped all around the room and rushed to the car with us. The cake's home! We could not wait one more minute---plates, forks, knife, drink for everyone, candles and lighting up... Then our little star began her song with hands clapping..."....Happy Birthday, dear daddy, Happy Birthday to you.." "Mommy, can i please eat the cake now?" After the candle blew, we could not hold it anymore. A big piece slided into her month and she was so much enjoyed it. Then, no need of words, she was so good at eating.... We thought that was it, but--- after a while, i guess after the urge for cake was satisfied somehow, she stood up, went to Lei and asked"Daddy, do you want me to sing a song for you?" I guess Lei was simply too happy and thrilled to react immediately. Yaya, already went ahead and began her performance for Daddy right away. Oh, what a special present, Lei!
